Cracked Screen

I dropped my tablet a few days ago at work. I had a protective case on it, it fell on hard tile floor and the corner of the screen is now shattered. I can still use it; the cracks are not in the viewing area however I hate the fact that my android tablet is now imperfect. I have clear tape covering the cracked screen so slivers of glass do not slice my fingers as I swipe away. A Google search provided a video of how I can fix the screen for less than $20. However I just don't want to, it is too much hassle and I am a bit concerned that I will do more harm than good. I have chosen to live with a cracked screen, imperfection and I am all right with that.

Living with imperfection is not easy, especially imperfection with others. Perfection and excellence are myths that we say we want, but can never have. These 'values' sound good and create a false sense of personal worth and feed our insatiable desire to be of some value to others. Maybe just maybe honest effort and thoughtfulness are the only things that can fix a 'cracked screen.'
